Hasta que llegue el 25 de diciembre con esa supuesta gran sorpresa, seguimos recibiendo regalos de ese calendario de adviento de Gorillaz. El siguiente ha sido el nuevo videoclip de la banda virtual para su siguiente extracto de Plastic Beach titulado Welcome to the World of Plastic Beach.

A pesar de que toda la maquinaria promocional de Gorillaz sigue a pleno rendimiento, incluida su enorme gira mundial, en los últimos días hemos comenzado a escuchar rumores sobre una retirada. Más que rumores, a través de declaraciones de Damon Albarn y Jamie Hewlett, se ha conjeturado a cerca de la posibilidad de un descanso ilimitado de Gorillaz.

Mientras se confirma, ya podemos ver su nuevo videoclip que, en lugar de ver a los protagonistas habituales de animación, en esta ocasión el protagonismo se lo lleva Snoop Dogg, tanto en la canción como en el vídeo, ya que aparte de un fondo dibujado de un barco y un catalejo, él es lo único que vemos. Videoclip tan sencillo como aburrido.
